As a Lighting Supervisor, you will oversee the lighting and compositing aspects of a project, leading a team of artists to attain creative lighting goals. You will be responsible for supervising lighting/compositing, leading the team, and collaborating with Art Directors, CG Supervisors, and Production to maintain artistic quality and technical feasibility.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Maya, Nuke, and Arnold
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality look development, key lighting, and CG asset validation
- Strong understanding of shot continuity, render optimization, and ensuring work translates cleanly across artists, sequences, and episodes
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing, mentoring, and supporting lighting and compositing teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions within time and budget constraints
- Comfortable working in high-pressure production scenarios, including overtime during key delivery periods
- Experience creating and maintaining lighting and compositing templates, workflows, and documentation for team use
- Ability to distribute workloads effectively, balance team capacity, and support overall production efficiency
- Experience assisting with asset finaling, including character turnarounds and set renders
- Familiarity with pipeline troubleshooting and collaborating with technical teams to resolve workflow or tool issues
