Technical Animator (On-Site)

ICON Creative Studio is a leading animation entertainment company in Vancouver, BC, offering a collaborative and innovative work environment. The company is seeking Technical Animators with varying levels of experience to work on top-tier feature and episodic CG franchises. As a Technical Animator, you will be responsible for collaborating with the animation team to achieve shot quotas, following technical and artistic direction, and implementing feedback and adjustments to animations.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of Maya
• Basic animation and modeling skills
• Introductory knowledge of Maya nCloth or other cloth-related simulation software
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in rigging, dynamics, and pipeline tools
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a willingness to take initiative and ask questions
• Collaborative attitude and openness to feedback in a production environment
