Job Description
Pastry Sous Chef role at Home Block Restaurant at CedarCreek Estate Winery in Kelowna, BC. The successful candidate will have 5-6 years' experience in a similar kitchen, leadership skills, and a passion for creativity in pastry and desserts.
Requirements
- 5-6 years' experience in a similar standard of kitchen
- Experience leading and managing a team, including mentoring junior chefs
- Ability to maintain consistency in high-volume pastry production
- Solid Pastry techniques and skills, good knowledge of ingredients and seasonality
- Current 'Food Safe' certification (or equivalent)
- Positive work ethic and professional attitude
- Quick learner, able to comprehend, incorporate & impart knowledge effectively
