Job Description
We are seeking a Local News Producer who can create meaningful and memorable newscasts. You will be responsible for selecting, researching, and writing content for live newscasts, working with reporters, and coordinating creative vision with a team of anchors, reporters, meteorologists, photographers, editors, and production staff.
Requirements
- Professional or college producing experience
- Experience working in a newsroom
- Writing and copy-editing skills
- Ability to coordinate several crews and responsibilities simultaneously
- Experience summarizing information into easy-to-understand components
- Creative presentation style, and ability to showcase all resources and elements
