Forward Deployed Engineer

ID.me is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to serve as the technical owner and strategic partner for a portfolio of named enterprise accounts. This is a customer-facing, deeply technical role at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated strength in web-based integrations and APIs
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers in a technical capacity
• Strong proficiency with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML
• Ability to read, write, and debug code in at least one relevant language (Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Go)
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex technical concepts for both engineering and non-engineering audiences
