Job Description
The Assistant Mechanic - Vintage supports Heritage Shop operations by assisting skilled tradespeople in fabrication and painting of metal components, with potential for personal growth.
Requirements
- Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
- Assist fabricators and painters with setup, prep work, and cleanup.
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision.
- Load/unload materials, move components within the shop.
- Perform shop maintenance, including sweeping and cleaning.
- Prepare metal surfaces for painting or welding.
- Learn trade skills through hands-on work and instruction.
- Support inventory and material handling as directed.
- Help with packaging and staging finished vintage equipment.
Benefits
