Industrial Journeymen Electrician - (Chilco)

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mill equipment.

Requirements

• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Install, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment with a primary focus on safe and continuous operation of all equipment and facilities.
• Utilize CMMS to document all work orders and equipment maintenance throughout the facility.
• Assist in maintaining the inventory of critical electrical spare parts.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) problem-solving efforts to eliminate repeat equipment failures.
• Assist in evaluating and measuring vendor performance.
• Collaborate with millwrights in making mechanical repairs as needed.
