1st Grade Co-Teacher - IDEA Pflugerville Academy (26-27)

The 1st Grade Co-Teacher role at IDEA Pflugerville Academy involves assisting in the educational development of students, implementing the Direct Instruction Curriculum, and participating in lesson practice and delivery. This is a grant-funded position with no guarantee of ongoing and indefinite employment.

Requirements

• At least 48 college hours required or bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
• 1+ year(s) of experience working with children in a classroom or volunteer setting
• Ability and motivation to master the Direct Instruction Curriculum
• Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
