Job Description
IDEA Special Education RISE teachers play a vital role in providing support and education to students with disabilities in WESLACO, Texas. They ensure students reach their full potential through high achievement expectations and provide resources, training, and emotional support to families. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Experience in a Special Education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities
- Valid Texas state certification in Special Education and core content areas
- Knowledge and skills in curriculum, instruction, behavior management, and IEP development
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
