Job Description
IDEA Special Education teachers are responsible for supporting the academic and emotional needs of students with disabilities. This role focuses on individualized plans, classroom support, and bridging the gap between the home and school. The goal is to enable students to achieve their full potential, including in-class teaching, content mastery, and assessment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Experience in a Special Education classroom setting
- Valid Texas state certification in Special Education
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
