6th-8th ELA Teacher Applicant Pool - IDEA Permian Basin Region (26-27)

IDEA Public Schools is seeking a 6th-8th ELA Teacher to join their team. The role is not a specific job opening, but rather a way for IDEA to gather information about potential candidates. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts to students in grades 6-8 and embodying IDEA's values daily.

Requirements

• High level of content-area proficiency as evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work-experience
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required)
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting (strongly preferred)
• State certification preferred but not required
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
