Job Description
IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Special Education RISE Co-Teacher to work with students with cognitive and/or pervasive developmental disabilities. The role is ideal for a candidate looking to gain valuable experience in Special Education teaching and advance in their education career. The RISE Co-Teacher will assist in the educational and social development of students, implement Individual Education Plans, and support students with emotional or behavior concerns.
Requirements
- At least 48 college hours required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with children with cognitive and/or pervasive developmental disabilities strongly preferred
- Willingness to pursue a Special Education teaching certification preferred
