This role prevents and reduces risk and maximizes effective payment of receivables. The Credit Analyst will assess customers, secure receivables, and manage cash collection.
Requirements
- Assesses customers, secures receivables and manages cash collection
- Defines customer's credit limits
- Validates the customer's account creation
- Monitors customer's credit exposure and analyzes the customer's aging balance
- Builds the customer's cash forecast
- Implements collections actions such as phone calls and e-mails, demand letters, and external debt collection
- Ensures alignment of all internal stakeholders (Sales, Treasury, CFOs...) on credit management by sharing credit management information and agreeing on action plans for delinquent accounts
- Supports the accounts receivable team on cash application
- Prepares credit management reports, and ensures data accuracy in finance tools
- Coordinates complex credit and collection activities
- Performs in-depth risk assessments and proposes mitigation actions
- Prepares and consolidates credit reports for management review
- Advises sales and finance teams on main risks identified and dispute resolution
