Veterinary Laboratory Technician

As Veterinary Laboratory Technician at IDEXX, you will perform laboratory testing to help veterinarians diagnose and treat pets. You will be a key contributor in a fast-paced work environment that encourages teamwork, quality, and opportunities for personal growth.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-, 3- or 4-year degree in a Science-related field is preferred
• Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MT) experience
• Ability to set up, run, and read lab tests, and operate laboratory equipment
• Positive attitude and energy to support colleagues
• Teamwork and ability to work in a team
• Attention to detail and ability to work reliably and precisely
• Ability to meet physical requirements of lab work
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals
