Job Description
The HAZMAT Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe storage, handling, and distribution of hazardous materials in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role includes overseeing inventory control, implementing and enforcing safety protocols, and providing training to employees on proper HAZMAT procedures to reduce risks and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledgeable of EESOH-MIS program
- Two years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Forklift certification
- First Aid/CPR card
- RCRA training and respirator certification
- Pass a government background check and drug screening
