Insurance Billing Specialist II

We are hiring an Insurance Billing Specialist II to work with us at Ignite Medical Resorts. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in health care insurance billing and a comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance and managed care plans. The role involves preparing and submitting claims, identifying payment discrepancies, and resolving balance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in health care insurance billing, preferably for skilled nursing facility providers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance and managed care plans, including basic coverage models, billing requirements, subscriber and provider responsibilities, and coordination of benefit (COB) rules.
• Ability to manage, analyze and reconcile billing and payment detail.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, cooperative environment.
• Strong organizational skills and communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exposure to automated tasking system, preferred
