Director of Care

Our client is one of the leaders in the provision of care for seniors and is seeking an experienced Director of Care for a new facility in Ontario. The role will involve coordinating resident care activities, hiring and supervising nursing staff, and promoting a positive atmosphere for residents and employees.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
• Education in nursing, nursing administration, and gerontology
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Progressive leadership and hands-on approach to monitoring and evaluating resident care
