Job Description
Coherent’s Laser Systems and Measurement (LSM) division designs and manufactures laser diode modules, multi-laser light engines and laser measurement devices. As a test engineer, you will be part of our product development engineering team and work directly with other team members to develop and test new products.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related discipline.
- 5 years optical and laser test experience in new product development environment.
- Working knowledge of laser safety and experience operating lasers and measuring laser beam parameters.
- Knowledge and experience with statistical data analysis tools and problem-solving methods.
- Knowledge of LabView, Python, or other programming language for test automation is a plus.
