Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting inventories across multiple manufacturing departments, including receiving, inventory transactions, and product movement throughout the plant.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of directly related work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Inventory control, shipping and receiving experience
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Vocational or technical education
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word and technical manufacturing databases
- Experience with Oracle/Agile (or other MRP/ERP systems)
- Detail-oriented, methodical approach to task completion
- Excellent organizational and inventory skills
- Strong written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks
- Team-oriented and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
