Job Description
Prepare glass tubes and materials used in optical fiber preform manufacturing, operate Over Collapse (OC) equipment, and maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with manufacturing, safety, and contamination control standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five + years' experience in manufacturing, glass processing, or industrial production environments
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects in glass materials
