Job Description
As a Sr. Optical Technician at Coherent Corp., you will help design and prototype new optical products, test alignment GUI, and optimize integration procedures. You will also be responsible for daily duties such as cleaning optical components, setting up optical alignment stations, and performing incoming inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading and math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- 3+ years of experience in fiber optics related field
- Experience in optical alignment and assembly using fixtures, hand tools and test equipment preferred
