Mechanical Process Engineer Co-Op - Fall 2026

As a Mechanical Process Engineer Co-Op, you will perform engineering projects, work with operations team to identify and implement safety and production CI initiatives, and participate in safety improvements for all equipment and continuous quality improvements for processes.

Requirements

• Must be local to Ohio State
• Relocation Assistance not available
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior, specializing in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Take initiative to identify and resolve problems
• Capable of learning ERP software and other ancillary software
• General computer knowledge
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety and values focused
• Leading by example with safety and safe work habits
