Job Description
Illumina is seeking an AI Engineer to deliver world-class innovative solutions across the enterprise, providing technical expertise and oversight of the development of integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze, and leverage data in product and systems applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment
- Experience in AI agent development with production or near-production deployment experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
- Hands-on experience designing orchestration systems for multi-agent workflows
- Working knowledge of ontology design and knowledge representation
- Experience with deployment practices and taking systems beyond local development
