Consultant, SAP Basis

The SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the SAP technical environment, ensuring stability, availability, performance, and security of all SAP systems.

Requirements

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.)
• Perform system copies, client copies, and SAP system refreshes
• Manage SAP transports and ensure change management processes are followed
• Monitor and tune SAP system performance, database parameters, and memory usage
• Apply SAP Support Packages, kernel upgrades, and OSS notes as required
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for SAP-related issues
• Administer databases supporting SAP systems (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
• Manage SAP user administration, roles, and authorizations
• Ensure SAP systems meet security and compliance standards
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to ensure high system availability
• Participate in SAP upgrade and migration projects (including cloud or S/4HANA migrations)
• Provide on-call support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
