Job Description
Syntax is seeking a Senior Manager, Global FinOps & Cloud Cost Governance (m/f/d) to lead the development and global execution of FinOps strategy and operations across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience in cloud financial management, FinOps, cloud economics, or cloud cost optimization
- Experience managing distributed teams across multiple regions or time zones
- Strong understanding of hyperscaler pricing models and billing structures (AWS, Azure, OCI)
- Experience working in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with FinOps tools such as CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or similar platforms
