The Consultant, SAP Basis will play an important role as an experienced individual that is trained to analyze and give advice to customers to help them make the best choice related to SAP Enterprise Solutions like ERP, BW and S/4.
Requirements
- Install, Configure, Manage and Support SAP S/4 HANA 2020, 1909, 1809, 1709, 1610, 1511, 1503, ERP6.0 EHP, Process Orchestrator, BW, BPC, NetWeaver FIORI/Gateway, Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, Content Server, Adobe Document Services, Business Objects and Java Based NetWeaver Products like Enterprise Portal
- Install, configure and Monitor HANA, Oracle, DB2, Sybase and MSSQL Database
- Administer, manage and support SAP clients
- Day-to-Day system monitoring of a 3 tier SAP landscape
- Document Standards, Systems Architecture, runbooks and monitoring Infrastructure
- Support of project tasks under project deadlines
- Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) for business applications or infrastructure to associates or third parties in order to maintain their productivity level
- Work very closely with other project consultants (Project Management, Functional, Security, Development, Automation)
- Support in SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud Connector, Cloud SSO
- Support with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Hyperscalers for SAP Applications Basis Operations activities in Public cloud
- Responsible for the setup and maintenance of customer systems
- Works on Incidents, Requests, Changes, and Problem Management
- Monitoring system availability and performance, application and database
- Major incidents and escalations management
- Problem Resolutions and initial Incident Reports
- Standard Operations Procedure documentation creation, update and maintenance
- Perform backup and recovery using database tools
- Application Patching and Upgrades
- Database Administration
- Apply corrective actions and follow up activities from incidents priority 1
- Quarterly Health checks reports creation
- Enhance monitoring based on repetitive events and provide permanent solutions
- Knowledge based articles creation and continuous updates to ensure consistency and quality
- Internal communication during Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents
- Weekly / Biweekly meetings with AM and Technical Leaders
- Monthly SAP Security review on the landscape and when applies to provide guidance to customer
- Monthly SAP Early Watch Analysis
