Job Description
The Retirement Plan Advisor will support and demonstrate IMA's core values, pursue and sell services to retirement plan prospects, and provide strategic recommendations and tactical implementation of plan enhancements. The role will also involve managing a team, developing effective working relationships with internal and external referral sources, and participating in the hiring process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' sales experience in the retirement plan services
- FINRA Series 65 required (additional licensing may be needed)
- Life Insurance and Variable Contracts licenses preferred
- Knowledge of ERISA laws and the retirement plan industry preferred
- Moderate travel required (25-50%)
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
