Job Description
IT Systems Engineer supports IT team in installing and maintaining infrastructure platform. Reports to IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager and interacts with end-users and site management. Responsible for supporting network infrastructure, providing third-level support, and traveling 20-30%. Requires 8-10 years of experience in server hardware, network equipment, and infrastructure support.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in server hardware, network equipment, and infrastructure support.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
- Technical knowledge and experience with servers, operating systems, firewall, routers, switches, and access points.
- Ability to work on a scissor lift and be comfortable with heights.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be proficient in one of the following areas: virtualization (Hyper-V or VMWare), cloud computing (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), operating systems management and support (Windows or Linux).
