Legal Counsel

IMC is looking for Legal Counsel to provide commercial legal support for contracts covering various departments, including trading, technology, compliance, finance, corporate, and tax.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required
• 8+ years of law firm or prior in-house experience in financial services industry
• Demonstrated generalist mindset with intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new areas quickly
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent management skills and business judgment with a capacity to make decisions and give advice that demonstrate an understanding of overall business objectives and the risks/rewards of each situation
• Strong research and writing skills and a demonstrated ability and willingness to effectively and proactively engage in in-person communication
