Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team based in Devonport, New Zealand, offering a competitive hourly rate of $38.00 to $44.00 with guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Analyse, troubleshoot, service, and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems and components
- Manufacture, assemble, test, and commission hydraulic equipment
- Diagnose faults within hydraulic and mechanical systems, with or without schematics
- Read and interpret hydraulic and engineering drawings
- Safely operate and change accumulators
- Use hydraulic test, flushing, filtration, and purification equipment correctly
- Select, install, and commission hydraulic hoses, pipes, and tubing
- Complete job cards, timesheets, and required documentation accurately and daily
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to maintain clear communication and high service standards
