Millwright

IMI Industrial Services Group is seeking a full-time Millwright local to the Upstate SC area to install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience, NCCER certification or completion of a related program, and strong safety skills.

Requirements

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment according to construction plans, blueprints, & other drawings
• Accurately applying intermediate mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division & conversion of fractions and decimals
• Assembling and installing equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, gearboxes and pumps
• Aligning machines & equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, calipers & plumb bobs
• Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy, at heights without fear
• Utilizing logical step-by-step procedures for work, planning, solving problems, and decision making based on quantifiable information
