We are seeking an Associate Scientist with strong hands-on in vivo experience, flow cytometry, and cell culture expertise to join our In Vivo Pharmacology team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biological science, with 8 years industry experience or Master's degree with 6 years industry experience in drug discovery or development
- Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and interpreting studies in murine syngeneic and transgenic disease models, particularly in oncology and/or immunology.
- Expertise in subcutaneous tumor implants and orthotopic surgeries
- Proficient in dose administration via multiple routes, including intraperitoneal, intravenous, tail vein and oral gavage.
- Experience with blood collection (cheek bleed or RO), necropsy and sample processing in mice to support PK, PD, and biomarker analyses
- Experience in flow cytometry (immune phenotyping, data analysis). Prior experience with Cytek spectral cytometry instruments is a plus
- Experience in aseptic cell culture and perform cell line expansion for tumor implants in mice
- Proficiency with standard laboratory techniques such as ELISA, MSD, qPCR, western blotting, and cytokine bead array is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and interpret complex datasets using Flowjo, GraphPad Prism, generate publication-quality figures, and effectively communicate findings through slide presentations in departmental and cross-functional forums.
- Ability to independently plan and execute experiments, troubleshoot complex problems, and rigorously interpret scientific data
- Strong collaboration, communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
