We're seeking a strategic, hands-on Social Media Director to lead and expand our global social media presence. This role is a true player/coach: you'll set the strategy, create and ship content, and lead a growing team of social media professionals based in Cape Town.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing, ideally in B2B
- Proven experience owning global social strategy—not just execution
- Prior people management experience; comfortable leading distributed teams
- Strong content instincts with a portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking and creative execution
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to guide decisions
- Deep understanding of major social platforms and how brands win on each
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Clear communicator who can influence across levels and functions
