Medical Office Assistant

IMS Care Center is a team of 500 employees and a physician-led organization united through its providers’ commitment to high-quality innovative health care. The Medical Office Assistant is responsible for answering a high volume of incoming calls and the scheduling and confirming of appointments.

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
• Good computer skills and being familiar with Microsoft (Word and Excel)
• EMR (Athena) experience a plus
• Must have knowledge of and follow HIPAA guidelines and secure Protective Health Information at all times
