Controller

Incident IQ is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting function as the company continues its rapid growth. The Controller will oversee core accounting activities, improve processes, and develop a high-performing accounting team in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant time spent in high growth SaaS or recurring revenue businesses.
• Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams while building scalable processes and strong operational discipline.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and strong expertise in SaaS revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Demonstrated experience leading financial statement audits and maintaining strong audit readiness practices.
• Strong ERP experience, preferably NetSuite, with the ability to optimize systems and leverage automation to improve accounting workflows.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments including Sales, RevOps, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and scalable processes.
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to identify operational improvements and implement practical solutions.
• Experience operating in fast-paced, scaling companies and building financial infrastructure that supports continued growth.
