IT System Administrator (m/w/d) for School Operations in Karlsruhe

Job Description:

As an IT System Administrator (m/w/d), you are responsible for planning, configuring, and commissioning server systems, clients, network components, and peripherals.

You support customers in the school sector (approximately 50% on-site and 50% remotely) in a holistic and solution-oriented manner.

You are responsible for designing the infrastructure for pedagogical solutions (e.g. paedML Windows / Novell, MNSPro) and administrative applications for school operations.

You contribute every day to accompanying schools in digitalization, creating quick value, and providing a high-performance solution for students and teachers.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, constructing, and operating complex IT infrastructure environments in the Windows and/or Linux environment
• Designing the infrastructure for pedagogical solutions and administrative applications
• Supporting customers in the school sector (approximately 50% on-site and 50% remotely)
• Good understanding of network technologies and network services
• Practical experience in Azure and M365 Cloud Services
• Secure German language skills in word and writing
• Driving license class B is required

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of school-specific systems, such as the administrative network (e.g. KISS, Belwü) and network solutions (paedML)
