The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance, repair and installation of various pieces of equipment within the facility according to codes and standards to provide a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
- Graduate of a trade school or equivalent OR two (2) years’ related work experience
- Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, and sound judgment
- Ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
- Journeyman’s certificate preferred
- Act 34-PA Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police system
- Valid Driver’s License (if out of state hire, the record report from applicable state’s driver license department is required)
