Job Description
Support the development and deployment of containerized applications and infrastructure automation using modern DevOps and cloud-native technologies as a Software Engineer Level 2 at Independent Software. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement scalable deployment workflows, improve automation practices, and standardize application deployment frameworks.
Requirements
- Comfortable coding in Go, Python, or TypeScript
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Fleet, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and containerized deployment environments
- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts and Linux system operations
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and support containerized applications
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn from senior engineers
- Appreciation for automation, documentation, and reusable code practices
