Job Description
As a System Administrator Level 3 at Independent Software, you will provide advanced support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems supporting mission-critical operations.
Requirements
- Strong experience administering and supporting IT systems in a system administrator role
- Advanced knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems
- Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Experience managing system performance, capacity, and reliability
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components including servers, storage, and networking
- Ability to support and resolve escalated technical issues independently
- Understanding of system integration and operational environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Fifteen (15) years of System Administrator experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Or Five (5) additional years of System Administrator experience may be substituted for a degree
- Certified DoD 8570.01-M compliant with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II
- Active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph
