Admission Counselor

Join Our Team as an Admissions Counselor at Indian River State College! You'll manage a caseload of prospective students, provide personalized guidance on choosing a major, and help applicants navigate and complete admissions and onboarding requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Minimum of three (3) years of proven work experience with student recruitment, enrollment, and/or retention initiatives in a post-secondary, educational setting
• Proven knowledge and skill in higher education student services, including admissions and registration procedures
• Proficient in CRM systems and student information platforms
• Strong communication, organizational, technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
• Skilled in handling confidential records with discretion
• Valid driver’s license or mode of transport
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
