The Clinical Coordinator supports the Surgical Technology and Central Services programs by collaborating with the Program Director to oversee all aspects of student clinical education.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in any field
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- Current NCCA-accredited surgical technology credential
- At least three (3) years of recent clinical or instructional experience in the field
- Minimum of three (3) years of documented experience in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years
- Certificate or degree in Surgical Technology or Surgical Services from a regionally accredited college/university recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP)
- Current credential in surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA)
