Requirements
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in the trade skills of carpentry, concrete, plumbing, electrical, and painting;
- Knowledge of the proper and safe use of power tools and equipment used in various trades;
- Knowledge and experience in custodial duties such as floor and carpet care including machinery used;
- Knowledge and understanding of biomedical waste and supplies and the proper storage and disposal;
- Knowledge of safety hazards of buildings and grounds which include maintaining hazardous chemical lists;
- Knowledge and experience in inspections, warranties and service contracts;
- Planning and managing projects;
- Be computer literate;
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions;
- Ability to work well with co-workers and other irsc faculty and staff members;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
