Job Description
This PRN CT Technologist position at West Hospital involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, screening for safety, and administering contrast. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, collaboration with radiologists and physicians, and assisting in medical emergency situations. IT documentation and QC are also part of the job.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Active status through one of the following: ARRT: Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) or Nuclear Medicine, RT(NM); or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB): Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- Advanced CT certification through ARRT or NMTCB within 12 months of hire
- Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
