Job Description
Indiana University Health is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform quality diagnostic mammographic studies at North Hospital. This role involves patient safety, positioning patients, reviewing images, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. Technical expertise is required, and candidates should possess all the necessary qualifications.
Requirements
- Perform quality diagnostic and screening mammographic studies
- Patient safety and comfort while performing procedures
- Review prior imaging and analyze tissue visualization
- Comply with FDA MQSA Regulations
- Assist with mammographs, ultrasound, and MR guided breast localizations and biopsies
- Perform screening breast ultrasound procedures
- Gain current license from the ISDH
- Current status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the ARRT
- Current status as a Registered Technologist - Mammography (M) through the ARRT
- Current status as a Registered Technologist - Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS)(BR); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): RT(S)(BS), or RT(R)(M)(BS)
