Job Description
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of properties managed by the Building Authority, including mowing, trimming, watering, snow removal, and graffiti removal. This role requires adaptability and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. The role reports to the Grounds Supervisor and relies on various equipment and company policies.
Requirements
- Perform mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, and spray operations
- Assist in planting flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Snow removal, ice removal, and salt spreading
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance
- Perform Maintenance as well as Preventative Maintenance on the (Canal) pumps and fountains
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (snow removal, vehicle breakdown)
- Valid Indiana State Driver’s license
- 3 Years of Landscaping knowledge and prior experience
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently
- Ability to lift 50 (fifty) pounds
- Familiarity with CMMS Software/Computers
