Job Description
The HVAC Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC mechanical and automated control systems. The ideal candidate has strong building controls and HVAC problem-solving abilities and technical skills.
Requirements
- Installation and maintenance of HVAC mechanical and control systems
- Troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Programming and modifications for PLCs, HMIs, and other control software
- Preventive maintenance of mechanical and control systems
- Collaboration with engineers and other departments
- Documentation of maintenance, repair activities, system configurations, and project documentation
- Ensuring safety standards and regulations are met
