
Job description
Supports and maintains MFT systems, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and client coordination.
Configure and support SFG, Connect:Direct, and SFTP transmissions, monitor and resolve file transfer failures, troubleshoot protocol and connectivity issues, support client onboarding and testing, manage encryption (PGP, SSH keys), perform initial root cause analysis, maintain documentation and support on-call.
3–5 years of experience in file transmissions builds and support, strong knowledge of Sterling File Gateway / Connect:Direct, SFTP and HTTPS protocols, working knowledge of Linux/AIX environments, SQL (basic queries for validation), understanding of encryption standards (PGP, SSL/TLS, PKI), experience with client onboarding and file setup, incident management tools (ServiceNow, Moogsoft), ability to troubleshoot independently and coordinate with teams.
