Director of Internal Audit

Director of Internal Audit responsible for establishing and leading an independent, risk-based internal audit function for a public company. Provides objective assurance and advisory services to the Audit Committee and management regarding the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, governance processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• CPA, CIA, or CISA required (CPA or CIA strongly preferred)
• Minimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in: Internal audit, external audit, or risk management & Public company environment subject to SOX 404
