Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development and validation a quantum sensor system for space. This individual will join the Emerging Tech Team and work closely with physicists and hardware engineers to develop control system code, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with a focus on hardware validation and system integration testing
• Highly proficient with at least one compiled language (C/C++/Rust)
• Strong programming skills in Python and other scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with optical and electronic test equipment
• Strong understanding of communication protocols
• Ability to process, analyze, and visualize test data
• Comfortable working in Linux environments with command-line tools
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to support product development from prototype to production
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
