Security Engineer – Workplace Services

We are looking for a Security Engineer to shape the future of modern workplace technology and contribute to the strategic product vision and backlog for Security Services across our global organization. As a Security Engineer, you will work with various components of our Security Services with a strong focus on risk employee experience, and operations at scale. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our services, managing vulnerabilities on endpoints, and ensuring timely mitigation and clear communication around endpoint vulnerabilities. You will also collaborate with communication or customer-facing teams to coordinate user notifications and follow-up actions related to security incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, IT Audit or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with endpoint protection platforms (preferably Microsoft Defender) and experience working with ticketing systems and incident response workflows
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Data Loss Protection (DLP), Information Protection, Insider Risk Management and others
• Experience collaborating with communication or customer-facing teams to coordinate user notifications and follow-up actions related to security incidents
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and processes, particularly in identifying, assessing, and remediating endpoint vulnerabilities based on CVEs
• IT experience with Microsoft 365 technology in an enterprise-level multinational organisation, including relevant certifications to show for it
• Experience working in highly regulated environments like financial institutions before
• Ability to translate technical vulnerability data into clear, actionable communication for both technical and non-technical audiences
